Nelson Lumber Company, Inc.) was founded in 1935 by Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Nelson, Sr. From "the sweat of the brow" to the use of state of the art CAD/CAM computer equipment, the Company is now a major player in the production and sale of pine and hardwood products to move industrial products worldwide. Our Location The Company is located on Interstate 20 (Exit 108) six miles west of West Monroe, La. Our 15-acre plant site includes 90,000 square feet of production facilities. Commitment to Professionalism Nelson and Sons, Inc. has been a member of the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA) since 1972. Mr. W. B. "Bill" Nelson, Jr., President and CEO, served as NWPCA Board Chairman in 1989. The Company has also been a member of Louisiana Forestry Association for many years.
